register with BIZTAS?
How do I register?
BIZTAS is a free service offered by the
Tasmanian Government to help local businesses succeed and become
known locally, nationally and internationally.
BIZTAS enables Tasmanian businesses to
register their services in a single Internet location, providing
them with worldwide exposure via the Internet in six
languages. Each business manages its own record and any
changes are instantly updated.
Who
can register?
Every Tasmanian business is eligible to
register with BIZTAS. However your business must:

be registered (i.e. have an ABN or Registered Business Name);

have at least one physical office in Tasmania; and
-
have an email address.
Registration on BIZTAS is free.
Why is it important to
register with BIZTAS?
As well as providing registered businesses
with worldwide exposure via the Internet, BIZTAS can be used by
local businesses to search for other like businesses that may be
interested in forming a consortia or participating in joint
ventures for the purpose of applying for State Government
tenders.
In addition, government buyers regularly use
BIZTAS to search for businesses that may be able to quote or tender
for Government contracts.
